Birrang Enterprise is so proud to have three of our very own, complete the Marang Dhali facilitator training workshop a few months ago.
Marang Dhali means Eating Well in Wiradjuri and this program aims to engage Indigenous Australian Participants, helping to build their skills and knowledge surrounding food to support healthy families.
🧡✨ From March 5 to April 9, 2026, Nay Mackay (BSAP Facilitator) , Brendan Pike-Longley (SAP Manager) , Anna Farrell (HIPPY Coordinator) and Rachel Livingstone (Schools as Community Centres – Glenroi Heights Public School) , led a six-week Marang Dhali Program in Orange, New South Wales. The program participants include young adults, parents and grandparents, who attended the weekly program where they learnt to prepare nutritious, cost effective, family friendly meals. They learnt new cooking skills, enjoyed good food and yarns together. They even got the approval of the toughest and youngest of critics!🧡✨
